R.I.P William Christopher · 4:25am Jan 1st, 2017
Apparently the year of death wasn't content with all the people it has already claimed from us, and so shortly before the new year dawns, one last person has been taken from us. William Christopher died today at the age of 84, due to lung cancer.
William rose to fame as the actor who played Father Mulcahy on M.A.S.H the longest running television show of all time, replacing the actor who originally played him in the pilot. And he maintained the role through all eleven seasons of the show as well as its short lived spin-off.
William had other roles too, and was a huge advocate for people with autism due to have an autistic son. He devoted himself to the National Autistic Society and recorded PSAs. He will be missed by all, and here's to hoping that with his passing we will see a halt, temporarily at least, to these high profile deaths in 2017.
Shoot I've never seen his stuff but I do have a small memory of my uncle watching M.A.S.H and I happen to remember his character.
And Apparently Christopher lee died a few years ago this I did not know until now.... I'm sad.
4363791 Lee's death was quite noticeable actually, he had quite a screen presence including Dracula, Fransico Scarmanga for James Bond, and Count Dooku for the Star Wars prequels and the Clone Wars pilot movie.
4363938 I was actually thinking of watching that Dracula film, I normally hate Dracula things but perhaps with Lee in it he will do a good job to make the movie good.
