Shell Gasoline would like you to meet six artists and "energy innovators" taking the world by storm! And they're certainly not a carefully photoshopped and choreographed set of artificially ethnically diversified commercial models who want you to know that fracking is the best thing ever and Native Americans suck.
I'm pretty sure these guys are characters from the next Mortal Kombat installment.
Anyway, I have news.
First off, lithium is working like magic! 
Unfortunately, it is magic that may ruin my kidneys, so I might need to stop taking it. 
Turns out a long time ago when a doctor prescribed me twelve Advil per day for four months, he forgot to mention that would ruin my kidneys, so I'm kind of in a double-bind now. Crippling depression, or living with dialysis?
I'll be getting tested again on Tuesday, and if my levels are still bad I will need to make the hardest decision of my life.
But enough about my misery! Let's talk poni plans. 
First off, I have a new story I will be putting up on Monday (and then I will start writing more TSJ and Veneer, sorry about the wait). I'm pretty sure this won't be my third badfic in a row, partly because my depression has lifted enough for me to gauge what I'm doing again, and partly because this one has the benefit of Writeoff feedback. It'll be another Dark Sad Drama One-Shot, the delightful combination you have come to expect of Trick Question. And this one's important to me, so it's staying up even if everypony hates it.
Second, I'm restarting work on the Android pony game, but it's going to be slow. I forgot a lot of stuff when I did the ECT, and I have to rediscover what I was doing. It was complicated. But I should be tackling that next week, and once I get to where I was before I will unpause the progress bar.

The lithium does work! The only problem is whether or not I can safely take it.

Dam, that is a hard, hard choice. I do hope it works out alright for you.
Assuming it doesn't also shut down your liver. Might be good for the short term, though.
I wish I had some alternatives to suggest. Um... Medical marijuana? Accupuncture? I'm spitballing here, but those are both legitimate scientific options. Nothing's off the table, I'd say. There might be some kind of natural supplements or homeopathic meds. And you'd be surprised the kind of shit that a vitamin deficiency can cause, and it's almost imossible to tell if that's what it is. Keep an open mind for your options. And a second or third opinion is never a bad idea.

My liver's great, it's only my kidneys that are the problem. I'm definitely never taking any NSAID's again, though.
Pretty much the rest of my organs are as healthy as a Yakyakistani, unless you count a little acid reflux now and then, but that's totally treatable.
Long time fan, and an actual for-real doctor. Hope the lithium works well, just make sure you have your lithium level checked regularly, and definitely do not take more than the amount you are supposed to take! Good luck, happy holidays.
