50 Shades of Nope

Something I noticed but never commented on was a tendency to have a parody or parallel to 50 Shades of Gray in pastel pony land in the form of 50 Shades of Hay.

I won't say I get or enjoy the original story-personally I dislike and cult like indoctrination is just one of them, but why Hay? Hay is arguably one of the most basic foods a pony can eat-this is even more basic than oats. And...frankly? Hay is just one of the most boring foods in Equestria. It sustains you, but not by much, and ponies have to eat a lot of it when almost any food has more nutritional content.

If we were to create an equivalent to the 50 Shades of Hay for humans, then it would be 50 Shades of Bread. Not the good bread either-just a bland type mass produced for efficiency with no care, all flavor taken out and shot leaving behind a mass of aerated fibers that may have once come out of wheat.

If you have to have a 50 Shades parody, use Neigh. At least then it might have some weird sexual connotations with ponies. Hay is just boring.
