I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to notice the pedagogical use of the Mane Six and the virtues they exemplify (HT: Christian Bronies):
The random thoughts of a role-playing game fan, science-fiction nerd, avid movie watcher, seeker of philosophical wisdom, aspiring theologian, and an amateur writer.

My Little Pony: Virtues are Ethical.
Points off for use of the KJV version. :) Just goes to show, even a version famed for its beautiful English can have very stilted language sometimes.
Also, a better verse about loyalty.
Proverbs 3:3 "Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart."

Well, I guess a Catholic could use the more recent RSV version instead.
Yes, I did also think there could be a more specific verse about loyalty for RD rather than the one they use in the meme, which is more about the theological virtue of charity in general.
Haha! Wow! I created this meme my freshman year of college and submitted it to the Christian Memes Facebook page. I never expected it to become so popular on the internet. My girlfriend was on Pintrest and randomly stumbled on the link to this. I just felt compelled to say something. :)
