NaNoWriMo and What It Means to YOU · 1:06pm Sep 22nd, 2012
So, starting November 1st is NaNoWriMo. And I'm gonna do it.
NNWM requires me to write AT LEAST 1667 words of a NEW novel per day for every day of November. As you can guess, this will leave precious little time for me to work on An Old Mare's Tale. And, no, I will not be finished by November. We still have three Elements of Harmony to find (which, so far, have taken two and change chapters apiece), and plenty of stuff in between, not to mention the buttload of things that will happen after we find them (lol anti-spoilers). So, uh, yeah, we're looking at another...15 chapters maybe? Maybe more. Right now I'm trying to go at about 800 words per day, and each chapter is 3.5-4 thousand words, which means a little more than one chapter per week.
So, uh, basically, I'll kinda be hitting a huge slowdown in another five or six chapters. And I apologize. But I wanna do NNWM so bad. Who knows? I might find enough time to do a little FiMFiction work in any case. But don't count on it.
Aww oh well can't wait to see what's coming up
