So I've been thinking about it long and hard, and I have decided I want to make a Patreon!
Right now, I'm in my planning and thinking stages and such I am not going to start up this thought for quite some time. There are a small number of things that need to be accomplished first:
Firstly: I need to get my life better organized,
Secondly: I need to dedicate more time to writing and nothing else until I get a better routine.
Thirdly: I need to come up with Prizes and Rewards that will entice and inspire readers to become patrons.
Lastly: I want to have a minimum of 500 Followers before I begin.
Now, as for Prizes and Rewards, I do have a few ideas and would LOVE your input!
$1 a Month: Prereader Access on demand of any unfinished Story or Chapter. (Basically if you ever want to know anything about whatever story I am currently working on and you want to Preread it before I post it, you need only to ask and I will send it to you.)
$5 a Month: Prereader Access on demand, as well as "Special Thanks" in the Author's Notes at the beginning of every new chapter for the story in which you want. (So just before reading the chapter, I will be sure your name and my gratitude is the first they see.)
$10 a Month: Prereader Access on demand, the "Special Thanks" in the Author's Notes, as well as your choice per month of either having a free commission of whatever you want up to 10k words in total or having your own Original Character appear in a chapter of any unfinished story of your choice. (This now allows you to either get a free story from me or have your own creation become a part of my story for a chapter.
$20 a Month: Prereader Access, the "Special Thanks", the choice of either a free story or have your OC join a chapter, as well as the ability to plan out or make suggestion of a chapter in one of my own stories. (So now you have the ability to decide how the chapter would go.)
If there's any other Prizes or Rewards I should offer, or if there's anyway what I'm already offering to be improved, please let me know. I am open to all suggestions and eagerly await if or when I reach my minimum goal of 500 Followers! Thank you all!

I realize the Rewards are supposed to be irresistible incentives for your potential Patrons, but a 10k story "per month" for the 10$ tier seems excessive. Your call, of course, but a 5k limit is a bit more reasonable. After all, patronage is supposed to roll forward and if what a Patron wants will be considerably longer than 5-6k, then the work can be done in Parts or Serialized. And too, 2x 10$ tier Patrons can combine their 5k/month 'credit' for 10k 'playdates'(or whatever). Naturally, the 20$ would have the 10k limit applied to it...
Alternately, just have the 5k for the 10$ tier accrue month over month, so that your Patrons can get the 10k every *other* month(60k per year).
You might also allow your Patrons to gift their story 'credit' with you to their non-Patron friends? Patreon does not allow *you* to raffle off your talent in exchange for patronage, but I think your Patrons could do so - via FiMfiction and other MLP-centric sites - safely.

I like both ideas. And i can also do non mlp commissions if some patrons so desire, and the ability to have patrons use a point system like yhat sounds cool
