Next Fic midpoint brief. · 6:21am Dec 12th, 2016
I've reached what I consider the midpoint of my next story, so I thought I'd give an update. It is already longer than any of my previous works, and I've only just started approaching the over-arc, or story arc that exists above the others. I haven't posted anything yet because, A) it isn't pony-related, and B) after tDDGtE, I like to finish the whole story before I start publishing it. I'll still be using the shorter chapter style that tDDGtE prototyped, but once I start releasing I'll likely be able to publish a chapter a day as I finish editing them. So far I've got enough for 42 days worth.
The story follows a sort of pokemon mystery dungeon theme, which, for those that don't know, involves a society made entirely of pokemon. No humans allowed, essentially. Anyway, this is the synopsis so far:
On the run for reasons unknown, an eevee is forced to face the real world for the first time in his life. Hopelessly lost and confused, Vanilla is discovered by a trickster pokemon calling herself Chocola. Provided he can gain her assistance, Vanilla might just discover what has happened to his family.
Proving his suspicions will be an arduous task, let alone being able to do anything about them. His allies are few, his enemies are unknown, and he's got a long way to go before he can hope to rescue anyone.
Since it isn't pony related, I won't be releasing it here. I'll make another blog post when when I start publishing, but if anyone wants a personal heads up, shoot me a pm so that I can add you to my list.
