Got turned down by three people

All I wanted was a prom date. My life is already falling apart so can I at least have that? The first guy I asked said he wasn't going to prom. The second was uncertain and he's flaked out on me at the last dance. The third guy I asked seemed open to going, but then we learned there's a youth group party the same day, so yeah. Fuck my life. The worst thing that happened was that I wrote such a long post that I logged out and lost everything. Basically my day was fucking awesome. Thinking about my super cool best friend put me in a good mood. It's his birthday and he's fucking amazing, not to mention smoking hot. Anyway, I had a small dance performance on the concrete and it didn't hurt and wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. It helped that I wore three layers of clothes. After that, I showered, relieved some stress, then went dress shopping with my mom. We were trying to find the dress below, but it turns out you can only get it online.

However, we still found a beautiful dress for a different occasion. It could be worn to a ball or a fancy date. It makes me feel like a princess. It's a navy blue dress with a silhouette reminiscent of the 50s, complete with a poofy midi skirt and a bow at the waist. I really hope I get to wear it soon.
