Ah, 'tis a sad day. I finally hear back from Equestria Daily, and what's this? "Showmare" has been rejected due to, well... being overused.

It is my sad duty to inform you that your work is, at its thematic foundation, unfit to be published to Equestria Daily. I’m afraid that you’ve hazarded upon a premise that has been so overdone that no incarnations of it are currently being accepted. For your convenience, you may find below a list of errors to improve your work, but this piece will not be further considered for publication.
I knew that was coming. Oh well.
This isn't a whiny blog, though. I meant to update everypony on what I'm writing, which is a lot:
*As you may have noticed, "Showmare" has a new chapter, which is currently undergoing some editing, after hearing back from Ponychan.
*"A Special Mare" is being worked on as well, although I'm not sure how soon it will be updated just yet.
*A Really Bad Story" will be getting a new chapter, as soon as I finish writing it of course, but that's a given.
*I have two new stories currently in writing, that might show up in the next month if I'm lucky.
*I can't remember what I was going to write for "Pinkie my friend" which is only still alive because of you guys. Any suggestions or requests for that particular story, are welcome.
And that's about it. wow, I am terrible at writing a lot in these blogs, you would think that I would fill them up with more detail but no, there it is, that's all I have to say about that.
Wow what an absolutely
brilliant reason to turn down a fic, not that it doesn't meat criteria, just we've seen too many to bother. No wonder I no longer rely on EQD to find new stories.
As suggested by some other guy for "My Friend Pinkie" I'd like to see Sunspot contact his family or their wedding.
