I'm older than your average brony, but then I've always enjoyed cartoons. I'm an experienced reviewer, EqD pre-reader, and occasional author.

Pascoite gets bored and reviews anime, vol. 69

Man, it's been almost two months since an actual review post? Well, I'll remedy that by cashing in my ace in the hole. Today's featured item is Aria the Animation, my absolute favorite of all the slice of life shows I've seen. It's long enough that I'll make it a solo feature. That plus a movie that just came out, a couple of shows that concluded not long ago, and more YouTube shorts,

Pascoite gets bored and reviews anime, the currently in process stuff redux

Man, has it actually been a year and a half since I last did one of these? And some things from back then are still on this list D: Well, let's get to it, in the same categories as before.

Pascoite gets bored and reviews anime, vol. 68

I started way too many new shows this season. D: 15 of them, plus a few continuing ones. Now my evenings are too full. ;-; Anyway, only one real feature this time, a 2005-7 series, Emma—A Victorian Romance (oddly enough, it's a romance), but also one highly recommended short. Extras are two recently finished winter shows plus a couple of movies that just came out last week.

Pascoite gets bored and reviews anime, vol. 67

Spring season starts today, though that doesn't stock my reviews too much yet, since a lot of my favorites didn't end. Features this week are one that did just finish, A Sign of Affection, and a movie from 2021, Pompo: The Cinephile. Those and more, one also recently completed, and YouTube shorts, after the break.

Pascoite gets bored and reviews anime, vol. 66

Some winter shows will be ending in the next couple of weeks. It's been a good season, but still waiting to see if the ones I like are concluding or will get additional seasons. But the one and only featured item this week is... Sailor Moon, after the break, since the Crystal reboot just ended.

2016 Bronycon panels are finally up! · 5:20am Nov 29th, 2016

If you're interested, I participated in the Advanced Writing panel:

and the other...

Dammit. Some panels are rated for ages 18 and up only, and the dark & sad fic panel I was on got put in this category due to the themes and subject matter that possibly could have come up, though nothing actually did that'd need that kind of age restriction. They didn't post any panels in that category, though, and now that I think about it, I never noticed whether there was any recording equipment in that hall. A quick Google search turns up nothing, so I guess it's lost to time. :raritycry:

I didn't attend all the writing panels, but the ones I didn't make it to were run by good people, so overall, I can say I recommend most of them. Not all. But most of them.

Thanks for sharing, man. Rewatching the Advanced Writing and Crossover panels was great. I would never have found these videos otherwise.

They didn't post any panels in that category, though, and now that I think about it, I never noticed whether there was any recording equipment in that hall.

So they didn't upload those panels just because they were 18+? :rainbowhuh: That's really stupid.....
I'm getting sick of BronyCon's overzealous attempts to keep up their child-friendly reputation, as if uploading them and marking them as 18+ would hurt any children.....

Very cool video! I watched most of it last night and I'll have to finish it up tonight. Bad Horse kind of steals the show for a while there, but the group as a whole has a great dynamic.

I've done a couple of solo panels now, and this is furthering my interest in trying to collab on one.

Man, Skywriter and Bradel? I'm sad I can't make it to these anymore. :C

(The hat's not that dumb.)

4321949 I can understand from a PR point why they made sad & dark an 18+ panel, because if kids go in there, and then there's a bunch of pervasive talk about dead ponies they didn't know they were getting into, it can be a real downer. And I can also respect that they didn't want to have to watch all the 18+ panels to make a judgment call on whether they were appropriate for a G audience. But I don't get what's wrong with posting that stuff on YT where they could even mark it as an 18+ panel. If anyone doesn't already know that being uninformed about what you're clicking on YT leads to trouble, they're in for a rude awakening. Plus it's not like those panels aren't already associated with BC, since, y'know, they took place at BC. I'm with you, man. I don't understand.

4322557 I still have the hat!

Man I was so tired by then. I don't even sound normal in the video.
