Back? For real?

TL;DR I'm back, I promise. The sequel to The Legacy of Spike is scrapped and might be completely rewritten as well as the original. Writing a new Spike shipping story, need editor. PM me. If you have previous editing experience link those stories too.

Sorry, I keep saying I'm back, but I usually don't seem to actually stick around long enough to get any writing done. I know most of you probably think I've all but abandoned my sequel to The Legacy of Spike, but that is far from the truth. I've just been busy for a long time. So I can say this without doubt. I owe you all an explanation as to why I've been absent for so long.

After my Sophomore year of high school ended and right before school started back up in the Fall, I cleaned out my backpack of all my old school supplies without really looking through what I was throwing away. Which included rough drafts for most of the rest of the TLoS sequel as well as a few ideas I was throwing around. It only occurred to me what I had done a few weeks after I had started school and wanted to get back into writing the sequel. When I couldn't find the rough drafts, I remembered I had stuffed them into a folder in my backpack and had never taken them out. Forgetting them for the entire summer.

After I lost all my work I kinda just put everything off for a while. Focused (kinda) on my schoolwork instead of spending hours focusing on my writing. I eventually sorta gave up on it to finish up school after I realized I was already heading into my Senior year. When I graduated I told myself I'd pick everything back up again, but never did. Talk about procrastination. Now it's been roughly a year since I graduated, and I still haven't written anything. I have until Jan 5th before I start College for Network Systems Analysis and other computer related junk. But until then I'll be writing a story. A new one I've had on my mind for years, since before TLoS.

Now regarding The Legacy of Spike and its sequel. I'm not going to be revamping the first story in the series I had planned. Actually that might be a lie. I've now realized how some of my story ended. I'm not satisfied with what happened and I do believe that I can write better that that. The sequel, will be scrapped for now until I can get a good understanding of where I want to take this, if I want to take it anywhere. If not, I may just hand the reigns over to someone with more free time to write it. Someone who I trust will make the story into the thing I always wanted to be. But for now, I'll keep it.

Now that everything formal is out of the way, this new story I'll be writing is a Spike shipping fic (what a shocker). I have a rough idea of who I want to ship him with, but I don't really have an editor anymore. Haven't had one for a while. If you'd like to be an editor, just hit me up with a PM. I'm going to be semi-serious with choosing my editor. So if you have edited previous stories for people, linking them in the PM would be greatly appreciated.
