Writing Update - Big News · 9:51pm Nov 28th, 2016
Hey all,
Last few weeks have been slow for me, thanks to Bronyscot (Thanks to everyone who came out to the writing workshop, and for the wonderful comments about feeling you got something from it! Thanks also to the two guys who read MN7 and wanted to say hi. That was amazing to experience!) and family requirements. So not a huge amount of progress given I can’t write during the week at the moment. (Crunch time in the gaming industry sucks the big one sometimes.)
However.
This is where I say something that I find strange to even contemplate given when I started.
I have a huge chunk of December off work, because of overly accumulated holidays due to pretty much working crunchtime for the last six months. From the 10th of December until the 2nd of January I am free to write.
As a result, I’m gonna say it now.
The finale of Murky Number Seven will be released in December.
Specific date will follow when I see how it’s going. But with that amount of time, I can finally get back to what I used to do and just get a real proper flow going. I contemplated commiting to a Christmas Day release as a homage to FOE’s original ending on Christmas, but I don’t think a lot of people will be around online then and may miss it.
The finale is currently written to just before the final sequence of the story, which is a big write to do, not to mention “rounding out” can be deceptive in stories.
I’ve also got edits to make to the setup to get there, which I direly want to tighten up.
But I’m confident I can do it. Thats why I want to set this deadline.
MN7 ends before this crazy year is done.
Wow. I really respect that. Good luck, and I'll be looking forward to the finish! I can't say I've been here since day 1, I only picked up the story about halfway through, but I have to admit it was a great read and I absolutely killed myself binging through the first half or so. You worked really hard and it shows in the quality you have here.

I'm looking forward to it! MN7 is my favorite out of all the side stories, I can't say I won't be sad to see it end, but all good things must come to an end eventually, but the problem is that MN7 isn't good, it's amazing. Thank you for this, I think I speak for everypony when I say that I can't wait.
