So... How's everybody doing? 
I have an excuse for not updating in the past... five...? months... Although it sounds stupid, it is the truth. So here it goes, then you can hate me all you want. After I published chapter 7 I started working on my summer projects for my honors classes and writing the next couple of chapters in my notebook so I could go over them later. You're probably wondering, "Why a notebook?" The answer is that sense I had literally since April to start my projects and didn't actually start 'til the middle of July I wasn't allowed to have my laptop until I finished. Everything was great! I had my biology project finished and I was editing my story while working on my English project. Now here comes the but, so here we go. BUT! I misplaced my notebook, I thought, "No biggie, I can find it after finishing my English papers." That did not happen, as you could have guessed. I finished and could not find my notebook. I put off looking for it for a couple of days, and before I knew it, SCHOOL. Me, being the genius I am, decided to take all my more important academic classes together in first semester. Honors English, Honors Biology, Algebra, & Honors History. I, of course, was swamped with homework and completely forgot about looking for my notebook (which I still haven't found by the way). Anyways that is my excuse, sounds like a load of bullshit, even to me, but it's true. Hate me all you want, I would hate me too. However, I am back now, and I promise to try and post the next chapter by Wednesday. I would say sooner, but I have to start it over from scratch and don't remember where I was going with it. But the point of this blog was to say that Dark Secrets has NOT been canceled and will be continued. Hang in there!

That's understandable. You said you were busy with projects and school which seems like a legitimate reason for you to forget to look for your notebook. I'm just glad that you are back.
