As you can tell, I've been on the site here and there, but I haven't really... contributed. And I guess I can say that real life has been getting in the way (which it has, no lie), but I've also been a little sparse due to some of the things that have happened recently. The election and the drama that followed it caused a lot of tension and not even this site was safe from the discourse of politics. So, I'd occasionally check in and stuff, but mostly I've been avoiding the site to gather my bearings with all the drama that's been going on.
And, sad to say, I haven't been writing. I'd like to, but things have got me busier than I'd like, and this break hasn't been an exception with my college assignments.
That isn't to say I haven't been planning and getting inspired, no, that's not it. It's just been a bit... harder. And it sucks, because I wanted to get my Nightmare Night fic out, but as I go on, the story suddenly gets muddied and I have to go back and fix it... It's little hard, but I've been working on it.
At this rate, my fic'll be done by Hearth's Warming.
So, I just wanted to give a little update. It feels like that's all I've been doing lately, huh? Disappearing and then coming back a couple weeks later just to remind you guys I'm not dead? Yep, sounds about right.
Huh, that would be fitting.
I don't really care how long you take. Just as long as you keep updating on how you're doing and not drop off the face on the earth, it's fine by me.
