Why I Changed Twilight Sparkle and Her Unwanted, Rewritten Love Life from Mature to Teen and more Rambles of a Drunk Cat · 6:01am Nov 23rd, 2016

The simplest way to put it is that I'm starting to get the sneaking suspicion that people are looking through 'clopfics' and they see my rewrite and think "Oh boy, Twilight getting penta-teamed by R63!" only to find out it's not and they get disappointed so they dislike the story. Whether or not that is the case, I really don't know nor do I really care. I have decided to change the rating to see if it improves the likes-dislikes ratio without the flood of people looking to get their rocks-off.
Another reason is, there would be no point in trying to censor the ever spooky 'bad words' if it was a mature rated fiction. There's also no scenes in regards to sex nor is there any plans to be. If I ever decide that I want to make an elicit intimate scene for the story I will make it into a whole different story separate from the main story text.
I am also not a great writer, that may also be a big reason for the dislikes. I am not keeping that out of the occasion because I know my worth, not very much, because I'm pretty sure anyone can write what I can write ten times better. I am very thankful for the likes and dislikes, however useless they are in regards of everything.
I still don't understand why the need for a rating system was needed. If everyone based their critique around a simple click of a thumbs down and nothing else, what would be the point of the system? This also makes the argument of 'It's to help the author' obsolete, it seems like it was intended for potential readers to know whether or not a story is good. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely enjoy the fact when I'm reading, I'll know what stories are potentially good and well written based on public approval; but I also see stories that I personally enjoyed get obliterated with dislikes without so much as a comment.
So onto more important things:

That's all there is to say at this point of time.

Well hot damn that's an ass.

Also, dude, don't be so discouraged by the likes to dislikes. Sure, they help out early for the story to see what exactly people are looking for, but it's not the end of the world when they don't go as high as you want them to.

I am not discouraged. I merely questioned the meaning of it's existence, the rating system. I am fully aware that the story is doing great, far more than I expected and I am extremely thankful for any sort of interaction with the story. I never wanted to come off as 'OH NO I HAVE 9 DISLIKES :((('
I just wanted to explain why exactly I changed the rating and I went on and on and on to meaningless topics, to be fairly honest.
