me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

So yesterday I exercised my inner Rarity and Fluttershys... · 8:06pm Nov 20th, 2016

Okay, so yesterday me and my mom were called upon to show our inner Elements of Generosity and Kindness and do a bit of donations for the soldiers currently fighting our wars over in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places against ISIS and all the other terrorists out there. What we were basically required to do was donate things like food (Granola Bars, hard candy, things like that.) to send over to them. This whole event was organized by Saint Michael's Soldiers, a great organization I suggest you try and get in contact with if you live anywhere in Florida. Me and my mom both got assigned separate jobs, nothing quite so glamorous, with me cutting sheets of bubble wrap and mom signing shipping labels to put on the boxes. While we were there, we met up with my guitar teacher Curt Towne and his band as they helped taped up the boxes for final shipping. (Johnny VanZant was supposed to be there as well, but unfortunately he came down with some sort of illness and couldn't make it.) Before we were given a free concert by the Curt Towne Band, we were told by the lady who put together this whole event that some of these gifts we were sending out of Christmas would be the only gifts some soldiers would be receiving for the holidays, so doing something like this, or at least helping out in some small way, it showed me that the Christmas Spirit was still alive and well and doing this whole thing made me feel really good inside, better than I have in a long time. As a bonus, the Curt Towne Band finally debuted their music video for their song "Long Live My Country", which me and my family starred as extras in months ago, so you can imagine how excited I was to finally see it. And now that it's been posted on YouTube, I'll show it to you now, so you can see just how amazing it actually is and get a first hand experience at just how good my guitar teacher and his band are at what they do.
