I've polished up Fuchsia and Lavender are (Not) Dead. Aside from grammatical corrections and spelling errors, some dialogue has been altered or expanded to allude to upcoming prequel installments, as well as to properly reflect Equestria Girls canon. To clarify canon, I mean printed material will either be referenced in broad strokes (Anon-A-Miss incident) or re-imagined/adapted with the

So a hurricane plows into bar...

Or at least she's predicted to do so over the next few days. Knowing how hurricanes have passed through the Carolinas in recent years, we're expecting Florence to weaken significantly once she makes landfall, and all we'll get is just several days of rain and some wind. However confidence does not negate preparedness -- contingencies are in place in the event Florence does pack a bigger punch

    Moment of Reflection

"I've heard one side called fascist and cruel, the other called fairy tales for snowflakes. Neither is true. The middle ground has gone missing."

Declassified: The Stories That Never Were, Pt 1 · 12:34am Nov 18th, 2016

To kill a little time while for y'all while working on finals, here is the first in a short series of declassifieds that will cover some older story concepts that never came to fruition. Many of these date back to when I first joined the brony fandom in mid-2012. Good times, good times.

Part 1 - Crossovers

A crossover with Kingdom Hearts was something I wanted to do since first assimilating with the fandom. A few major concepts were considered before settling on Aqua's team-up with Lyra and Bon Bon.

--Have you read the Chain of Memories manga? Remember the bonus story The Strange Tale of the Riku Replica? Before considering the prospect of horsewords, there was a long series planned out for Riku Replica (from now on referred to as Repliku) and one of the Vexen replicas following the events at Castle Oblivion. They would've traveled across the worlds in classic adventurous/comedic fashion to make themselves true individuals. The closest thing to a pony ref would've been the following exchange:

He looked up to Vex with an almost desperate expression. "Please tell me it's not another world full of singing horses. If I hear one more song about smiling..."

"Come now, Equestria wasn't that horrendously cheerful."

It then later on evolved into a short adventure during the Flim Flam Bros debut, with an extended chorus for the Cider Squeezy song sung by Vex :pinkiesick: Other potential stories set during The Return of Harmony and A Canterlot Wedding were also considered.

--Flamedancer (v1)During his early years in the Organization and set during Sonic Rainboom, Axel explores Equestria as part of a recon mission. He later ends up befriending Rainbow Dash and joins the rest of the Mane Six to watch her in the Best Flyers Competition. After his little adventure, Saix (with word from the Dusks) confronts Axel about the legitimacy of his friendship with Dash since Nobodies aren't supposed to have hearts and thus cannot feel genuine emotion. This helps set the stage for their eventual fallout years later and was also planned to be part of a larger anthology of one-shots starring KH original characters.

Oh, here's his pony form done by moi.

--Flamedancer (v2)--Set during Wonderbolts Academy and after the events of Dream Drop Distance, Lea attends the academy as part of a larger effort to prepare worlds for Xehanort's rise to power. He befriends Lightning Dust, and later helps her understand the consequences of disregarding the well being of others. Was conceived as a sequel to the Rainboom story, then later an alternative, all after the episode aired. Even had some art requested for it at the time.

Other ideas that never made it past a few lines were an Equestria Girls story with Young Xehanort and Sunset Shimmer and a one-shot starring Lexaeus in Winter Wrap Up.

Aside from Kingdom Hearts, other crossovers remain in developmental hell. Firstly, It's a Wonderful World, a crossover between Equestria Girls and The World End With You. Here, Vinyl Scratch (currently portrayed as mute) finds herself in the Reaper's Game after a horrific car accident, and must pair up with Joshua to return to the land of the living. Their efforts are hindered by Reaper Adagio Dazzle.

Second, the ever elusive Sunset Get's A Pet. I really like the idea of Sunset adopting Vinny, but at this point it's hard to tell if it'll ever get off the ground. Maybe it'll be shelved away for later, maybe toss it. Hell, I might rewrite it to include a song about getting heartburn from baked clams and other kid stuff :rainbowlaugh:

Lastly, Torchwood. I've tried it twice. First time went well until losing motivation after the third chapter. I personally don't see me revisiting it anytime soon, especially with the massive lore and world-building FiM's done since. Sometimes it sucks having such a high respect for canon. As for thesecond attempt... graveyard status, 'nuff said :pinkiesick:

That's all for this entry. What do you think--would you like to see any of these come to light?

Stay tuned for part 2.
