over a thousand years ago, Luna's personal guard protected her from the shadows and carried out secretive missions, defending the kingdom from monsters hidden in the darkness.
However, alongside them was another group, one not limited to just the thestrals. this group defended the innocent from the darkness in the hearts of not only ponies, but the hearts of all the people of the world. their work, carried out with the utmost secrecy, changed the world. Kingdoms rose and fell at their hand, the Dark Sisterhood.
However, the fall of the princess resulted in the fall of the night guard, and as with the night guard so too did the Sisterhood fall. Now, a thousand years later, they are destined to rise again. who will become the new listener, the one who receives the orders to be carried out?
For this im thinking Twilight or another cannon background pony finding the coffin of the mother in the Castle of the Two Sisters in a hidden chamber. it would be about her/him coming to terms with what the position calls for, learning the history of the sisterhood, gathering members, carrying out missions.
one of the first missions im thinking of is Scootaloo praying for revenge against the mean orphanage lady, much like in skyrim, and this mission showing that by stopping evil with evil, she becomes what others cannot, saving those from the darkness and stopping those with dark hearts.
just a thought i had one day, let me know if i should follow through with this after completing A New Life
It could be interesting. I'm a bit lacking a general conflict in all of these. Equestria doesn't seem in any danger since it prospered just fine without the fighters against the monsters. The rise of Sisterhood feels more like something that you as a writer is forcing than something that is necessitated.
Also, Scootaloo and Twilight seem very OOC.
Yes, i do see that. perhaps an AU from the final of season 5 with the nightmare arch may provide the necessity of the brother/sisterhood, or at least open the world to the possibility of assassins that take their orders from a higher being than the nightmare. ill mull it over and see what else i can come up with, my priority is A New Life at the moment, been procrastinating and working too much to put much time on it lately.
