Fillies and gentlecolts, I am quite aware that it has been a very long time since I've posted anything worth reading.
I intend to remedy this situation by year's end with a release of a fiction that I have been nursing along for several months now.
I'm closing in on the final chapters now and I am in the process of editing the existing ones.
The fiction is called "I Love the Smell of Friendship in the Morning" and is based in the Grimdark future of the Grimdark universe of the Grimdark MLP40K genre... Grimdark.
Anyways, I need to get this published before the year is out so I can start working on other projects.
Taking a while to write/publish a story is fine. Rushing through just to get the story out there proves to give a negative result rather than a positive one.
Also, if you feel that you're taking to long with the story, ask the question to why you think you are taking so long with it. If you simply don't like how it's going so far, as painful as it might be, start over with a new idea. It clears the mind and gives you, the author, something to write about something you enjoy.

Oh, I can assure you that the lack of writing is due to me not having the time to just sit down and do it. The story practically writes itself, and I am having lots of fun with it. Half of the last chapter I wrote was actually unplanned, it was just stuff that came to me as I went forward. The problem is that I just cannot find more than 15-30 minutes at a time to work on it. If had managed to have a few hour long stretches more than once or twice per week, I'd have been done a while ago, well, minus the editing.
