Writing is a major stress reducer, and I've got stories that need work. I have deactivated my FB account, unfollowed three people on tumblr, and really thought about stepping away from here for awhile, but figured I was overreacting, because here, it was coming from just one person that I was following at the time.
So instead:
Anyone posting any non-satirical political content in their blogs or comments will be unfollowed and / or blocked.
And just because someone thought I didn't explain it clearly enough, I currently define "political content" as anything even remotely related to the election, candidates, or people reacting to them. I'm currently getting the silent treatment from them because they truly don't understand how hard I'm trying to stay away from this bullshit and still remain somewhat social online. This is a goddamn pony fanfiction site. Take it fucking elsewhere.
Currently brainstorming the next chapter of Sunset's Weekend Off and yes, I am well aware that I have to return to update Letters too.

You might as well. I mean, there's still the lame duck period and Inauguration Day, and I don't see tempers cooling anytime soon. So if you take a break from any social media now, that break is going to last until February at least.

4299187 Probably until March or April. Presidents usually get a "honeymoon period" of about 100 days, before people can start to tell what sort of president they'll be. Granted, those impressions can change (such as with Bill Clinton and George W. Bush).
Just wanted to chime in and say it's really not cool to demand that people YOU chose to follow cater THEIR content to YOUR wishes. Why don't you just, you know, use the "Compact View" feature in the blog bar (thus being able to pick and choose what blogs you're exposed to) or unfollow the person WITHOUT making a fuss about it?
