Fan art for The Pony Who Lived Upstairs

Here's a piece of fan art that made me giggle and be all tickled and amused when my friend Mbala gave it to me. I've posted it on Chapter 12 of The Pony Who Lived Upstairs, which is about where I was in the novel when he created it. Derpy's mane and tail are actually a pale yellow in the original. As background--I used to play Derpy as a wizard character on a pony roleplaying venue

I'm delighted to report that The Pony Who Lived Upstairs has been reviewed and featured by the Royal Canterlot Library, a band of avid pony writers and readers who enjoy collecting and spotlighting quality stories. Their erudite description made me laugh with joy! As it happens, the curator who

New pony story from my archives of embarrassment!

So, I just posted the first chapter of a story I began way back in 2013 after the Season 3 finale aired. I know a lot of people didn't like that episode, but I loved it--it's still my favorite to this day. It inspired me to begin not one but two stories--the not-very-good "Cutie Mash" is the one I shared on this site, but there was another I began called "Frames of Folly." I was saving

Remembrance Day 2016! · 1:12am Nov 12th, 2016

For those of you who enjoyed my story "The Pony Who Lived Upstairs"... today is the day it all begins! According to the bonus chapter I posted, today, 11/11/16, is the day Celestia comes to Earth and meets Canadian Governor General David Johnston. She is followed by Cadance, and together they start to issue press releases, write speeches, and plan demonstrations to scientists to prove their authenticity--all against the backdrop of a ticking clock. If the world of Friendship is Magic doesn't turn out to be real today, it probably won't happen! Check your newsfeeds, I guess!

I didn't get enough of a response to the bonus chapter to continue the story of how Equestria contacted Earth, but I invite you to imagine how it went at first. Was it messy? Violent? Boring? Chaotic? Were there unexpected heroes? Twists of fate balanced on a historical knife's edge? You tell me! :trollestia::pinkiegasp:

"We need to teach our youth american values: Kindness, Honesty, Respect, compassion, Charity, Understanding, Cooperation" said Melania Trump. Did he marry a pony?

I could use some ponies making contact with humanity. Make it so, number one!

If we are lucky, your prediction will be true and we will wake up with new pony neighbor thomorrow...

I never commented because I was sort of racing through to the end of the story, but I always got a real kick out of that chapter, as a Canadian.

Come on, no one is going to assassinate the governor general!

4298065 Wonder whose speech she plagiarized for that quote... :rainbowlaugh:
