No, really.
Once again taking a break from social media. Might be awhile this time around. This time because the political bullshit has been turned up to way past eleven. And so far, this has been the one safe haven where election-related blog posts have been neutral, light, and generally kept to a minimum. At least from the people I follow.
Hell, at this point I'm not even planning a letter over this insanity.
So for the next few weeks / months, I believe other than my jobs, I'll be immersing myself even deeper into Equestria, Tamriel, and The Frontier. And of course my Netflix binges.
Until everyone. Calms. The fuck. Down.
I get where you are coming from, the bus I was taking home, ran into an anti trump rally and was delayed a good 15 minutes last night.

I wish there was a way for me to filter Shares out of my Facebook timeline, because that's all it is. Viral shares of people flipping the fuck out.

There's your answer. People don't come to Fimfiction for US politics. They come here mostly to talk ponies and ponyfiction. There are political groups on this site, but none of them boast more than a few dozen members, so chances are your favorite crackship or clop fetish has a Fimfic group with more followers.
Not to mention that this site also caters to Canadian, Australian, and UK bronies, at the very least.
