I hope some of you are enjoying the feels I’m putting in here. Mostly Rose, apparently: her dead dad, earlier, and watching Daring plummet to her doom. There will be more.
I also hope y’all are enjoying the action as well. I’ve no idea whether the style is action-y enough, or too action-y—it’s hard to keep the characters in mind when they’re running and flying and yelling and jumping. But damn was this chapter fun!

It hit me earlier while I was looking through my author’s notes. I started this chapter, like, over a year ago. And it wasn’t even close to the first bits that I wrote. I’ve been consumed by this story for all of three years, now.
I don’t know how other authors do it—writing and posting a chapter every few days, without blocking it all out beforehand. That’s not for me.
