Post Ciderfest Blog & What comes next! · 5:29pm Nov 4th, 2016
So, if any of you follow Calm Wind or any of my friends in the Troll Squad, you'll know I attended Ciderfest this year in Milwaukee! It was a lot of fun, and quite honestly there was a lot of awesome stuff that happened! Sadly, I don't really have pictures of any of the stuff I got or that happened, because my phone is a pain in the ass.
Oh, wait, I do have one picture! Of which I am really proud of having!

And yes, I am that skinny nerd in the checkered shirt.
Anyway, that's the only picture I have out of the con that is on the computer. But I did get a few things from the Vendor's Hall, including a NLR Flag and Flask, a Daring Do Plushie, a Wonderbolts Pin/Medel and a Tie Bar, as well as a Tarot Deck and print of a Discord Picture (That I got signed!) and a Sombra Print (I ALSO GO SIGNED! ) and a Celestia print (That I want signed... if I ever get to a convention she is at) and a few other things.
Anyway, it's now a few days afterwards (It'll be a week Sunday, actually), but I am home now a day and rather exahusted. But I figured I needed to come post a blog about the convention, and also to let you all know about my next story!
That story is tenitivly currently titled "Broken Crystal" and will be set in the Crystal Empire some years after the death of Hope, and revolve around everyone's (Or at least my) favorite fallen King; Sombra. It'll detail his fall from grace as a hero of the Crystal Empire, his return to the Empire as a Tyrant, and then his fall before the might of Equestria's Princesses.
It won't be an overly-long story, but it'll be long enough that it won't be a quick story to write.
After that, I am looking to collaborate with my friend, Jim Hoxworth, on a Griffin Drake War story that he has told me will most likely be very bloody and dark. So, right up my alley!
And last, but not least: An artist I know, Baron Engel, is doing a charity live stream for Jenn Blake! You all might know Miss Blake as one of the amazing Comic Artists who have been brining MLP's comics to life! Sadly, she has had to leave the comics for the most heartbreaking of reasons: She is dying.
Miss Blake has developed brain cancer, and is currently unable to afford the possibly life saving treatment she needs. That, my dear friends and readers, is where we come in. Baron Engel is doing a charity stream this saturday, and there is also a GoFundMe page set up Here.
I emplore you, all of you, to go donate to the GoFundMe, or if you don't want to simply throw money at the problem without getting anything back, go throw money at Engel. Please, please help her as she was nothing if not a joy to see at Ciderfest this year, and the world would be so much less if she passed from it.
And that's all I have to say on this. I'll likely go toss some money her way as soon as I am done with this, and once more I emplore you all to do the same.

I am well, but tired. Oh so very very tired from all the traveling, and I get to do it all over again this weekend because I need to go journey across the state to visit my grandfather.
Other than that, it's starting to look like I might be getting some comission work in the near future, but that's still up in the air :D
How about you? How've you been?

As for me, I'm doing pretty great. I started university this year, and I've finally published the sequel to that Sombra x Celestia story, if you remember that one.

Nope, I work from home xD I traveled to Ciderfest, which is in Wisconnsen, and I live in Washington State. Understandably, it was a lot of traveling for someone who isn't used to it.
And now, I get to go visit my grandfather on the other side of my state, which isn't too bad of a trip, but all the same it's still traveling right after my massive trip.
And good for you! I graduated form college like... two or so years ago, so I wish you good luck on your studies! Also, I saw the sombraxcelestia story! In fact, I am pretty sure I broke the favorite button the instant it was up since I favorited it so fast xD
