Hello, all!
Stay tuned after the irrelevant baseball stuff, I have important announcements to make!
I always wondered whether it would happen in my lifetime; well it has! Back to the Future 2 was only off by one season, this is THEIR year!
...and now on to relevant matters.
Well, it's finally happened: I've managed to get an editor for one of my stories! The prolific proofreader JBL has agreed to help me with How I Remembered What Friendship Could Be.
It's great to finally have some help; I'm glad that JBL accepted my request and I'm looking forward to working with him.
However after talking it over with JBL, we've both noted that while HIRWFCB has gotten fairly good reception as of yet, it's pretty much bare bones as is, with little more than 1,000 words per chapter, and severely lacking in imagery and character.
So I've decided to rewrite the story from scratch, which means that update I promised this month might not be feasible, though I still plan on updating HEIE. I hope that everyone will be satisfied with HIRWFCB when it resurfaces.
Meanwhile, some of you might have noticed that I've added a profile pic since the airing of the Season Six finale, featuring Trixie making one of her cutest ever faces.
It looks great, but it's just a unchanged clip from an episode. There was no effort on my part to personalize it.
But today I have a special opportunity to rectify that. In a tribute to the greatest mangaka who ever lived, Osamu Tezuka, on what would have been his 88th birthday, I present my new profile pic!
I hope you all like it, as it is NOT just here for Tezuka-sensei's birthday, but will remain my profile pic for the indefinite future, maybe until I've died and left my thousands of works of pony fiction, all unfinished, like his immortal Phoenix.
