Can the same thing that happened in the alien genocide comics happen to the changeling race? · 3:03am Oct 28th, 2016
Ok so this is my first blog for anyone who doesn't know who I am I'm a fan of extremely short stories that are still interesting (comics for example) I am a huge fan of the alien and predator movie franchises(I prefer the predator over the alien however) and in my opinion the coolest movie series ever is Godzilla (except the one from 1998 tristar) and I'm am not above the age of 16(I'm not gonna specify age at this time)
But I'm going to be talking about the changelings and I want to here your honest opinions on this so here it is.....do you think that what happened to the Xenomorph hive in the dark horse aliens genocide comic series happen to the changelings, for anyone who doesn't know in the genocide comics the queen xeno dies and a species of RED skinned Xenomorphs started rebelling and systematically eradicating all the NORMAL Xenomorphs on the Xenomorph home planet, and the only reason they weren't doing it BEFORE the queen died was because the queen was keeping them in line and keeping the balance of the planet in perfect harmony
I would have to say that yes this could happen to the changelings because they're essentially the same as Xenomorphs only sentient instead of mindless animals that's my opinion tell me if you think it could happen in the comments section and talk to y'all next time by

Second no the xenomorph is drastically different from the Changlings though both still get the bug nickname. Xenomorphs are hive minded the red and black war was caused buy two separate queen mother class xenomophs being born at once. The bug ponies are a hive society witch is not mentally linked to the queen or king also the queen dose not give birth to every changeling in the hive. Otherwise her leaving is a short term victory and a longer-term defeat as after the last larval changeling matured the hives population would stagnant then dwindle. So unless thorax marrying a new queen or becoming able to lay eggs.... not something I want to think about. Changelings must mate with each other or ponies to lay eggs and have new larva. That said Crissy's threat to make a new hive hints that she can when needed produce a large number of eggs. Maybe all female changelings can? Regardless either way it gives a interesting story possibility to the show.
