I have a few things to bring up, and I suppose that first of all I should get to the one most people reading this would care about.
No. Chains is not a dead story, I've just been extremely busy for the year, coupled with lack of motivation and inspiration, writing was just a bit too difficult to get to. I hope to be updating it soon, and hopefully regularly. The chapter I'm working on for it is mostly done.
Secondly, I have a new story in the works based around the world of Everglow from Ponyfinder. If you don't know what that is, it's a third party setting to a table top rpg called Pathfinder. It's basicly exactly like Dungeons and Dragons. But I will be starting that story soon too.
Thirdly, I will be attending my first con at the end of the month. Ponyville Ciderfest. I've never had the chance to attend a con before, but now that I do I hope to have a bit of fun there. And I'll try to work on my stories during my downtime from it.
That is basicly all, I hope you are all doing well and hopefully we won't have such a long dry period again. Knock on wood.

But seriously, that is such a shame that such a popular story was left to be unfinished. Many people believed that you will finish this one. And now... I am gonna get the death certificate...
