Yom Kippur · 1:54am Oct 11th, 2016
Tomorrow, at 6:00 PM or so, we Jews begin the holiday of Yom Kippur (יום הכיפורים), also known as the Day of Atonement, the holiest day of the year in Judaism. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jewish people traditionally observe this holy day with an approximate 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services.
What sins have I committed that I should ask God to forgive me for?
