Persona EG: The decision concerning the next chapter · 10:23pm Oct 7th, 2016
Yesterday, I asked my readers for input on how to handle something that's been blocking me. Now I'm going to talk about that.
First of all, thank you all for responding so quickly and so passionately. For the record, option two won the vote, but option one got a sizeable amount of attention.
What I didn't mention at the time, because I wanted to use my readers as a sounding board without laying all my cards on the table, is that there was a third option, which was always the way this was likely to go--the way I want this to go. I just wanted to gauge how you all felt about "more delays versus sticking to my promised deadline" before making this decision.
Given how the vote split (27-17 in favor of option 2, BTW), I feel confident in going forward with:
Option Three
There will be sufficient detail and excitement in the coming battle to satisfy those who enjoy reading the RPG action stuff, but it will NOT be the typical "game-faithful battle" you're used to from me, where everyone goes in turns using their attacks and skills. It will play out more as a cutscene or anime battle and resolve more quickly as a result.
HOWEVER.
I'm not going to rush it, because this chapter is major. Significant things happen here and I want to get everything just right. So what I'm going to be doing is this: I'm going to be working on this in between working on my Patreon bumps and commissions for the month. The chapter will be posted only when I am personally satisfied with it.
Thank you all for weighing in with your opinions and what-not. I'm thankful and grateful for your continued readership and consideration. Getting a read of how you all felt about the coming chapter helped me solidify my own plans and make a determination about how to proceed. 
(I realize it was a sneaky move to keep the third option and my personal preference for it secret, but if I'd laid it out on the table, I feel like I wouldn't have gotten responses as genuine as what I got from presenting just two options.

4245185 Well, honestly, I needed to do what I did to convince myself what I wanted to do was the right choice. Getting feedback from all my readers helped in that regard.
It's your story, so ultimately, it's your decision on what happens and you have my support.
