    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

Extra Life 2016 Master Post · 11:33am Oct 6th, 2016

(No worries, this is just to let you guys know that we ARE participating in Extra Life this year. You won't see this blog post again until November 5th.)

DONATION LINK
Extra Life 2016: milesprower06
(Simply click the Donate button on my Extra Life page. If you don't like the pre-set amounts, select "Other" at the bottom!) Extra Life accepts all major cards as well as PayPal.

WHAT IS EXTRA LIFE?
Extra Life is a fundraising event, the proceeds of which go to branches of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. 100% of all donations go directly to the hospitals.

To raise funds, most commonly, gamers in the US and around the world attempt a 24-hour marathon of a game of their choice, many streaming live on Twitch.

Participation and total donations have increased every year since Extra Life was founded in 2008, reaching a grand total of over $22 million. Last year alone, 55,000 gamers raised a total of $8,300,000.

WHEN
November 5th, 2016 8:00 AM to November 6th, 2016 8:00 AM

OUR TEAM'S FUNDRAISING GOAL
$200 total, $100 each, competing to see who can raise the most.

WHO IT BENEFITS
Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana

MY MARATHON ATTEMPT
Titanfall 2

WHEN CAN I DONATE?
Anytime. If you donate now, thank you very much, and you are under NO obligation to do so again during the marathon. I personally do not handle any donations physically or digitally; 100% of your tax-deductable donation goes directly to Riley Children's Hospital through Extra Life. However, to add to the excitement and motivation, we're hoping to get most of our donations during the marathon.

I CAN'T AFFORD TO DONATE. HOW CAN I HELP?
That's okay! Simply sharing the above link to anyone you think could give us a few bucks would help immensely.

$200? I get that this "goal" is more of an on-paper thing and doesn't really mean anything, but I get the feeling that you and Brady are selling yourselves short. All it takes is one generous donor who isn't already tied down to someone else's charity event to get you over that threshold. I've seen charity streams where some people give $100, $500, or even $1,000 at once, and I've also seen some donors in the same streams who will break up their givings into multiple smaller donations (The gamers hosting the stream typically read donation comments aloud, so donors would do that to crack jokes in the donation comments, endorse (for lack of a better term) whichever game is being played at the moment, or contribute to donation incentives and bid wars).

4242912 We're prepared to bump it up to stretch goals, but this is the first time we've participated, so yes, our first goal is going to be modest.
