First Blog Post ftw!

Ok, Fluttershy's sad face made me want to post in this blog, and since people are actually reading my stories, I figure I'll do something with it.

So here's what I've got: 2 stories, one of them continuing, one of them a one shot. If any other situation pops into my head that interests me enough, I'll write it. If you have something you want to see, message me! I can't guarantee that I'll do it, because I have specific tastes in writing. I don't like ships, I don't like gore, I don't like horror, stuff like that. I might do a crossover, but it would be something more action/adventure oriented. And if I'm going to do a crossover, I'll be doing something a little less extreme than what I normally see. Currently, I'm looking up and seeing a Pony / Transformers crossover. That seems...a bit too much of a stretch in story for me. Not the impossibility thing, just the storytelling.

So! Here's my schedule: This week, I'm working 8 to 4 at a job I just started. Starting next week, I'm working 6 to 4, but only for 4 days a week. Not sure which day I have off yet. This means that on my workdays, unless I have a lightning strike of brilliance, I probably won't be writing much.

So, now that you know that, my next couple of chapters up are going to be in Last Ditch. Discord has 2 more ponies' dreams to invade: Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Once those two are done, I have a decision to make. Either I'm going to continue in the same story, or I'm going to split off what happens after the dreams in a new story, starting with a new chapter 1. Feel free to post any preferences. At the moment, I'm kind of siding with keeping it in the same story.

So that's where I'm coming from. A few other ideas are mulling under the surface of my mind, but right now I want to hit the checkpoint in Last Ditch before I start something else.

PS: One of my goals is to write a story with a group of characters getting the same recognition and importance and exposure. It sounds minor, but making a story focused on a team without favoring any one over the other is tougher than it sounds. I also want to introduce a new element to the stories. So that's what I have, and that might give you some hints on what might be coming in the future.

PPS: My motivation! I just wanna share this with you guys. I'm writing for the people who read the stories. I love writing, but the best part about writing is when people enjoy what I write. So anyone following me, please feel free to rate and comment! If you think I genuinely suck, gimme one star and comment to tell me why. If you like it, then rate high and tell me what you love about it! I take all criticisms, good and bad, and I've shown before how appreciative I am when you guys point out my typos. But I'd prefer 200 views and 150 responses of some sort to 2000 views and 15 responses. Thank you to all those tracking my story, to the few of you tracking me, and to everyone who's read my writing. This place has rekindled my drive to write, and I intend to thank it and all it's members by doing the best I can.
