Average brony obsessing over the main cast with an unhealthy desire to see them in a dark fantasy setting.

:ajsmug: Afternoon everyone.

:ajbemused: Well, it hasn't happened in a while, but I've finally hit the bedrock block that I can't seem to mine. It's not just any block, it is Art block and writer's block all at once. I can't write, I can't draw and School is stressing me the hell out because half of my classes rely on both aspects of me to be able to do that. As some kind of catharsis to get away from the stress, I've taken up playing minecraft again, and this only complicates things when one of my favorite activities in that game is to just spend hours digging away layer after layer of stone to build some kind of monument. Because what else do you do in a game where your goal is to make it to some far off land and kill a dragon with zero sense of urgency?
Luckily, My art project this week isn't due until Tuesday, so I still have time to complain about it before I just cave in and do something I know I won't be happy with just for a grade. Point perspective is the bane of my existence. If you asked me to draw a city on the fly, sure I can do that, but the minute we get rules and straight lines involved, it's all hats off from there. I am no architect, and my sense of perspective is immediately destroyed the moment you hand me a ruler. *Sigh*

:applejackconfused: Now that I'm done complaining about that, now I can complain about the chapter I was supposed to get done this week. Pink ponies are strangely difficult to deal with. I can draw the ponk whenever I feel like it as shown here, but if I need to write about the pink one, It's very yes/no as to whether or not I can do it. I wrote the intro, but can't figure out how to get to the end. A similar problem to what was going on with Rarity, but just in a different spot. Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight, and Rainbow all have really clear back stories in my mind, and I know exactly how they will play out when the latter two come, and I had them down just about in one go when it comes to the two that are already done. But just like when I try to build pink or white decks in the card game, they always come out bad or not good enough to keep up.
In this case, I just can't get in the clear mindset that I need to write like 7 pages worth of story in one sitting like I know I can. "Oh, why can't they all be this easy?" the quote from dark souls 2 comes to mind when I was writing Fluttershy's chapter because I knew I wasn't going to be able to get Pinkie's done on time. If nothing else, I will force myself to get it all done by next Sunday. Of that, you can be sure. At the very least, I got the intro down, so it shouldn't be impossible to think it through.

:applejackunsure: Well, that's what's going on with me this week. All of my anime for the season has come to an end, 91 Days hurt me in a way I didn't know was possible, it doesn't look like Diamond is Unbreakable will ever end since it just got a new opening, Mob Psycho 100 was amazing and I eagerly await a second season of that, There was... more D. Gray man? I suppose. Whether or not that continues, I wouldn't be able to guess. If back in like, 09 you told me that I would get more D. Gray man in seven years, I would not have believed you, but here we are regardless. The Berserk 16 anime happened, and... I enjoyed that? Not many people like the whole CG not CG thing, and that is understandable, but as often as I play the Soulsborne franchise, it was fun to watch what was essentially the base for those five games.
Fall anime starts for the most part, next weekend with the exception of the second season of MSG: Iron-blooded Orphans and this new show called The last Witch; Izetta. I'll be taking a look at that one later and Orphans was just so good the first time around, I'm hoping it keeps up the trend. It's the only gundam I've watched since MSG: 00 that was a really good anime and not just another edition of MSG 79, i.e. Gundam (79), Gundam Seed, Gundam Unicorn (either one, almost a 1:1 remake of the original). There are many, they all have the same plot, and they all take place in relatively the same year, and they feature just about the exact same characters, with little to no variation outside of the way the mobile suit looks, and even then, 'the gundam' is predominantly white with blue accents and has that swanky golden V on the top of it's head in some form or fashion. But, then again, I just described 90% of every main character's gundam across the entire franchise, the only one I know that this doesn't exactly fit is bowl cut mustache gundam, a.k.a. Turn A gundam, which also happens to share many, many things with the original as well.

 New episode of the pony show happened, and I was quite pleased with Captain Ahabjack and the various dumbed down versions of the characters from the three perspectives. It was one of those episodes where Twilight solves everything 'because reasons' but most pony is good pony, so I had no complaints. Definitely a forgettable episode though. One of those 'nothing really happened here' episodes that has one or two references that stand out, but otherwise bland. Very slice of life in the whole sense of the phrase.

:derpytongue2: That's it from me today. I've been watching (making fun of) Mobile Fighter G Gundam with my friend lately which Is really why I gundam'd up there and felt the need to talk about it.
TL;DR No new chapter this week due to stress and school. Have a good week everyone.
