That is such a melancholy blog title, but I got really tired of the typical, "Oh shit, I'm delayed." Normally, I try to publish a chapter at least once a month. If you look at my last couple blogs, you'll see that there was a hiatus, and that after some Herculean level efforts from http://www.fimfiction.net/user/NeonGreenTiger, http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Sober,
and the simply incomparable http://www.fimfiction.net/user/AutumnTea, the reasons for that hiatus were largely countered.
A lot of my time went into rehashing bits and pieces of chapters that had already been published, and that took its toll. I think I've recovered from that, but now I'm faced with a new challenge -- and that challenge is the future. For the last three years, I've been using the power of certain character interactions to generate motivation and material, and I've lost a huge portion of that library. Lost isn't quite the right word. More so, I've been off rebuilding that wing with the individuals mentioned above.
Many of you kind of already know this. I don't particularly view followers on here as followers. I like friendship. I dig communication, and a bunch of you have hit me up through other means. Nonetheless, a bunch of you folks have commented and encouraged me to write, so I think it's only fitting that you hear from me that I am still working on stuff. Installment 36 is being written. Half of it is actually done already. I've just been delayed through the 2nd half because of the need for that rebuilt stuff. If any of you would like to read the scene that exists, feel free to message me, and I'll send ya the link and pass. It is the cutest -- yes cutest -- Trigger scene in the Universe.
Okay! That sad sounding crap aside. This mare....
... has been a busy filly. Sober and I have been working on a leisurely project, and maybe I shouldn't have even spilled the beans yet, but I am just so gushingly giddy about writing this with him that I cannot contain myself. I've known Sober for quite a while now, and he's the type of guy that has always put his team before himself. And that is balls awesome, but let me tell you, writing things with him is about the most enjoyable authoring activity there is. I just keep thinking about what's going to come next... and it gets me very excited. [inb4 Sober makes a pants joke.]
