I honestly have very little to say about this one.
I mean, it's not like I don't care, but out of all the incomplete (now cancelled) stories I have, Lightspeed Rescue is the one I less remember. I think, and that's an operative word, that the original intention was to make an anthology story, a la The Brave and the Bold. The main setting was the eponymous Lightspeed as some sorts of MiB, mixed with Planetary and, of course, Power Rangers: LR.
In fact, it was literally the above in three separate, but parallel lines: The main story was about Shining Armor, Spitfire and Skywarp (and OC I made to captain the Night Guard) and their journey to be the next step Celestia and Luna's plan to protect their subjects. The secondary one was about Fleetfoot, Limestone Pie and Lyra working as the new archivists of the crown, meaning they would be send to investigate anything that could be labeled as 'weird' (pretty much the X-Files). Finally, the third plot, more de-attached form the other two, was the Task Force, composed of the nine classes from Team Fortress 2, doing black ops outside Equestria.
Yeah, it was too big to be handled by a single writer, which is what I kinda tried to do.
i actually had a very long and detailed plan for a common arc, crossovers with my others stories and lots of world building. The idea was to slowly integrate more elements of hard sci-fi into the magical setting of MLP:FiM, while also exploring some fancanons I had that I thought had good story potential.
I would like to talk more about it once I release the sketchbook, which will happen at the end of this week, when I plan to do the same with The Doom Patrol and Mare-Do-Well Strikes!, which where the other fics involved in the same shared universe.

the very few i could read about the Lyra part was one that i really enjoyed, you had some great and fun idea with this
that were both fresh and fun, a new take on Lyra to associate her with two unlikely friends ?
