The episode is better than I thought it'd be. Only because Starlight actually doing something beyond horrible is not treated as a small, "No big deal" kind of problem and she actively has to make up for it because yeah she screwed up big time. It kind of has "No Second Prances" vibe to it, in the fact that where the episode is good, it's actually pretty good, but where there are flaws, they are GLARING flaws.
What I DIDN'T like was the fact that Starlight had no shred of remorse AGAIN until Twilight told her how badly she messed up. If this episode doesn't convince you that Starlight is an unfeeling sociopath, nothing will. I'm really beginning to question why the Mane Six haven't kicked her to the curb yet because of how awful she's been lately. This crazy has imprisoned and attempted to brainwash you, steal your cutie marks, fuck time up, nearly let Trixie die, and has now mind controlled you.
Why the hell do you let this bitch hang around you again?
Felt more Lesson Zero to me, it was an OK episode, had some funny moments, but I don't think it'll be on my Top 10 list, as such. I'd give it about a 6/10. And extensive professional therapy for Starlight.
