Happy Birthday Shanon Chan-Kent · 3:40pm Sep 23rd, 2016

Today is Shanon Chan-Kent's birthday, she is the singing voice of Pinkie Pie and the voice of Silver Spoon. Interestingly enough, she voiced Pinkie Pie in two episodes of Season 2 ("The Cutie Pox" and "Ponyville Confidential", you'll notice that in both episodes Fluttershy doesn't speak, her cry in "Ponyville Confidential" is a recycled audio clip).

Shanon was also the voice of many characters in The Littlest Pet Shop cartoon that wrapped up a few months back, including Youngmee, the Biskit Twins Whitney and Britney, and their mother.

Happy birthday, Shanon. It's a shame that while you've had some good Pinkie Pie songs this season, you haven't really gotten a chance to voice Silver Spoon at all, despite the events of last season. Hopefully, that will change next season.
