Ubisoft predicted the future! · 8:01pm Sep 14th, 2016
That's right, Ubisoft's game, Far Cry 4, predicted the future. How, you ask? Well, let's take a look...
So, I'm sure most of you know about Far Cry 4's story, a man returning to the country of his birth to spread his mother's ashes only to get caught up in a civil war.
What people don't realize is that this is eerily familiar to something happening the the US today.
In the game, you are tasked with giving our support to one of two rebel leaders. Your choice will determine who will be in charge of the new government when Pagan is overthrown. However, neither of your choices are very good. Sabal is a chauvinistic conservative that wants to throw all foreigners out of the country, and Amita is a lying, underhanded snake-in-the-grass that wants a totalitarian government that dictates what the people think.
Hmm... that sounds familiar, doesn't it?
If only their psychic employees can tell them to stop rushing their games.
