Why is it that you don't see my episode reviews anywhere but the Lunaverse forum? Simple, do you really want to see a whole page of nothing but "This is great." because that is what the episode reviews would be like. It isn't that I can't find flaws, I bet I could if I wanted to. It's just that, well, I don't want to. I like being positive, I like seeing the bright side of things and seeing what I like about the product. I let people like Snob, Critic and Linkara tell me the bad of anything. Hell, that is what Linkara did with Trek and I was spending more time thinking about what is right with it.
I am a positive thinker and I prefer to make people and be happy more often. than not. I don't like saying this sucks or this is bad. There is enough of that in this world. And its why I don't comment on the drama all that much. Because, I kind of refer to look on the bright side of the fandom. And belive me, in spite of what some may think, around here there is a hell lot of good to go around.
See, instead of talking about a collection of bash fics, I prefer to talk about the story I had just read of Sweeite Bell and Scoots getting an ice cream
Rather than talk about an author getting their story torn to shreds, I rather talk about the author who improved thanks to this site.
In place of bad con stories, I want to talk about how people had an awesome time.
In the face of depression, talk about how some good friends of mine were helped because people did it out the kindness of their hearts.
I like to talk about Keyframe, Caplain, and so many others who are not a Rarity in this fandom, but common.
See, I know that there is drama in the fandom and that there are idoits. But in my experience, those are actually few and far when compared to the likes of other fandoms I have seen. You want real hatred, real misery? I know of some places out there that will make you come screaming back here.
Hell, in the case of bash fics, I saw one that will appear on fandom fridays this week that made me bow and tell this site I am NEVER leaving again.
I'll admit, there is bad out there, but that is no reason to dismiss the good and I can tell you there is a load of that out there. You just need to know where to look and focus on that. I am of the mind that if you look for the bad and think about it, it will seem bad. But if you think bout the good and hunt for it, I can guarentee that there is a lot more of that in the fandom.
You ask me why I love being in this fandom, because I have seen the creativity, love, compassion, and fun in nowhere else.

(Applause) A very good statement sir! If I could, I'd shake your hand! You're quite right, there may be plenty of idiots who cause needless drama in this fandom, but then there are people like you who make me want to stay. I tip my hat to you sir.
Couldn't agree more. There was a time when I skipped posting a blog post about an episode because, well, I found the episode good and I had forgotten what I wanted to say, so why would I make a post just saying "This was great!"? But I should make it anyway, because there's a lot of negativity in this fandom, and I shall at least try to balance things out. When I have time, I don't just say "this was great!", I hishlight what made the episode enjoyable for me. Discussions in this fandom are becoming so toxic and full of needless drama. I'm never visiting episode site posts again!
And I totally agree with you about looking at the bright side of things. The cup isn't half empty, it's half full

Sent you a PM about the sites. And yes, looking on the bright side of life is why I both love and hate Pinkie. I love to read her when she is written perfectly, but hate to write her but only because she is so tricky to write. I get worried about being too insane wiht her.
