Well. I attempted to write this week. Truly, I did. But, I also started playing Bloodborne again, and like a true hunter, I beat my head against so many walls until they broke that I lost track of time. For once since I've come back to college, I actually stayed up past midnight playing a video game. There's a certain euphoria that follows a successful hunt that I simply have been getting in large doses frequently enough that keep me addicted to it.
I guarantee you that I would not have done anything I was supposed to do today had I opened the game at all. Luckily, I have an immense willpower to keep me beating my head against walls, and it can be turned on myself in the same way I use it to play games. Of course, this is all for naught anyways since I caught up on my anime today instead of doing said homework. My programs don't work, my art assignment is going to take a lot of time, and since I'm under conditions, I don't want to do it.
I started Rarity's 'episode' if you will, but as I did, I didn't like how I was trying to incorporate things, so I think I'm going to change how her back story plays out as opposed to what I thought it was going to be. Something came to mind amidst getting the first page out that has me thinking in a different direction than I was when i initially thought up her story. In a basic sense, I know what to put down for the middle and how it should end, but I can't get a grip on how I should start it.
Honestly, the easiest way to beat a block of any kind is simply by doing what it is that's blocking you, but I'm a lazy person and only realized that I hadn't written anything on Saturday. For once, I actually wanted to play a video game again, and that is where it all spiraled out of control. You never realize how much time you used to spend playing video games until after you have less time to do it. First I was a knight in a dying kingdom overtaken by demons. Then I was a chosen undead for most of my time. Another time, I became the undead that usurped the Queen and forged a new path. I've been a hunter of beasts for over half a year, and every now and again, I'm an unkindled one who seeks to end the cycle. Just like all of them, I'm stuck in FROM's death grip, unable to escape the tantalizing euphoria of felling an insurmountable beast.
All the same, this did finally give me an idea as to what to do with that one Pegasus that hasn't shown up in Super yet, and she may pop up sooner than you think. Ooh, what's that smell? Oh, the sweet blood, how it sings to me! It's enough to make a man sick... There's your hint. (If you haven't played the game though, you should. It's worth your time.)
So, new episode, right? A cmc episode, an 'okay' song and some scoota-feels to boot. I enjoyed it. I need to watch it again though, because I was kinda barely paying attention to it at the time. Note to self, do not run the blender while trying to watch tv. All sound is lost when the blender is at play.
TL:DR I didn't get anything done due to my addictive nature, so there's no chapter today. May be one in the coming days provided I don't get covered in homework and sweet blood again. Until next time
