Fate/Equestria Girls delayed, not on Hiatus · 2:53am Sep 10th, 2016
So my original goal and intention was that Fate/Equestria Girls would get an update at least once a month, 1 chapter every 30 days seemed reasonable and do-able with my current schedule. I'd get my webcomics updates out, I'd be able to take down time for games or personal art and just generally whatever I wanted to do. And it was working out great!
Then I got hit with a pretty hard bout of depression for three weeks straight that basically drained my motivation to work on anything. The only reason I could even get most of my drawings done was because they're kind of my job. I don't draw, I don't get paid, so I can muster the energy for that. But writing? Forcing myself to put words to paper made me hate everything, and the last time I did that, Silent Ponyville 3 had a shitty ending. And I certainly don't intend to let Fate/Equestria Girls suffer the same fate.
So my schedule to get 1 chapter every 30 days kind of fell through already. But I certainly promise that when new chapters do arrive that they will be worth the wait. I have the story planned out, and Kul has made awesome and amazing pictures of character designs that I can't WAIT to get implemented and show to you guys, and I just want it to be enjoyable for everyone involved.
In the meantime, I'm going to try and get whatever writing I can done on whatever my inspiration will let me write. Hopefully writing something will get that spark to write anything back. It's a fickle mistress. Right now I have a lot of inspiration to get writing done on Silent Ponyville 4, so that might be my focus for a little bit.
Hopefully the full ramifications of the depression will pass soon, and writing will commence on all fronts! I just need more time and kindly ask for some patience, I want the best possible product for you all in the end. So thank you all for enjoying my fics to this day!
