I've always wondered what stupid feels like.

I have a confession to make. When planning this story I apparently didn't give the character designs as much consideration as I should. Particularly with the djinn and how I had initially described them as lighter, thinner but otherwise identical to terrans. Now that I'm actually writing, it dawned on me that the fact that you cant really tell them apart at a glace is a huge plot hole for this chapter. Now, I can easily fix this with a slight aesthetic adjustment. The cover art of the story shows Dusk with a small oval gemstone in his forehead. That could be the analog for horns in this universe and it wouldn't really change anything already written except for an extra line or two when it comes to their descriptions. (The magic would still come from their hands in other words, the gem would just be what draws the magic into their bodies.)

The reason I bring this up is because it's such an amateur mistake and I really don't want to just add it in and pretend it was there all along but never mentioned.

So, that's that. As for the progress of the chapter itself, it may be a little while because it's an important chapter, but it is being worked on regularly.
