So yeah.
I've been working on an ORIGINAL THING lately, so good on that. Honestly, it's a rough, rough draft that I'm mostly writing so as to stay in practice. There might be some good ideas in there worth salvaging once it's all done, though. I'm a little past the 10k mark, which is uuuuuusually when I start going "augh this is terrible why am I even trying?" But, well, I shall endure! Or something. It's not like I'm writing this blog post as a matter of procrastination. Nope. Cough.
Silver lining, sometimes when I procrastinate, I write pony stories. Hence, Queue! It started as a silly idea that I had banging around my head ever since I wrote Letters from an Irradiated Princess. Mostly because Gargantulon is entirely too fun a word to write. So I booted up the word processor last night, hammered a little bit out, and then wound up charting out the most of it this morning. Making up random movies for the girls to be fans of was rather fun, and a little easier than using 'actual' flicks as well, so there's that.
Anyway, I'll wrap Queue up with a little epilogue (which may or may not expand into a full chapter if I'm not careful) in a day or two, and then it'll be back to writing stuff that I could theoretically get published somewhere!
Just ... after some editing. Lots and lots of editing.
