Lately

So... I'm behind on watching the show. I'm in the middle of two episodes, but I haven't finished seeing anything after "Stranger than Fanfiction." I fear that something about me is getting in the way of my enjoyment, like my aversion to even watching awkward situations. I don't know exactly what it is, though. I can tell you I'm not having the same problem catching up on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

I checked out "Lyra and Bon Bon and the Mares from S.M.I.L.E." (is one of those supposed to be an ampersand?) but the writing style and the nature of the "twists" were overt reminders that the intended audience is much younger. It took me much longer than I anticipated to read the whole thing. I liked solving the puzzles in the back with my eyes, though.

Speaking of puzzles, I've been brainstorming a few that I plan to present as a story here. I don't know quite how I'm going to tie them into a metapuzzle, though, so I haven't settled on what answers are feeding into it. Sadly, and in short, I'm stuck.

But I finished Chapter 2 of "Dan Vs. King Sombra"! Yay!

My mom invited me to her office (now called the Woman Cave) so we would both be writing in the same room. Getting over the hump and writing the rest of the chapter took two days.

Now, I don't know what this means for the rest of the book, and I want to show the chapter to prereaders first, but everyone should be able to see it no later than next week.
