Sleipnir has gotten more activity in the time since I've posted the last chapter than the three chapters proceeding it combined.
While I'm here, I may as well share some fun facts about Sleipnir.
1) Puck and the Book of Newt were designed for a different story, one that isn't related to MLP in any way.
2) Dread was originally going to be a human in power armor, not a pony cyborg. He also wasn't originally going to have speaking lines.
3) Molestia was originally going to kill people with an oversized penis. This was changed for reasons that will surprise no one.
4) The Administrator was originally meant to be a metaphor for the fandom. He isn't anymore, so I don't feel bad telling you this. While I'm talking about the Admin, he was originally designed to look like human skin that had been stretched over a horse skeleton.
5) Chapter 37 "Botany" was originally going to feature a monster based on Cheerilee's Garden. This was scrapped because I couldn't figure out how to make flowers intimidating.
6) Flufflepuff was only included out of my dislike for the character. Since being eaten and assimilated by Treegoona, she has become its dominate mind and is now wandering Sleipnir in search of waffles.
7) I have mentioned Dread's real name at least three times in Sleipnir, as well as dedicated a chapter to his backstory. I'm only telling you this because no one's seemed to notice.
8) Sleipnir was originally only going to be a three chapter practice project to sharpen my writing skills. I have no idea what happened.
Anything can be scary and intimidating.
You just need the proper setup.
Do you remember the Poppies in the Wizard of Oz or the Triffids in day of the triffids?
