Sometimes the phrasing is clunky, for example:

Why does this have the comedy tag?
Thoughts: This has an interesting set up, but it is just the beginning of the story, which hasn't been updated in over a year. Without more to follow, I can't particularly recommend this.
Verdict: Not Recommended

Funny.
"HEY, AT LEAST I SOLVED WORLD HUNGER." Twilight snapped back.
"Yeah, by drowning everypony in Nutella."
Minuses:
Loses steam with a really dumb joke I think about Princess Molestia halfway through
Ending is rushed
Could have used more detail on the nutella deaths
Thoughts: This starts out absurd and promising but ended with a wimper. The bonus chapter doesn't help. I'd advice the author to focus more on the absurdity of the situation than on throwing in random subplots to reach 1,000 words. If you like random, you might like this. I enjoyed it but it could have been much stronger.
Verdict: Vaguely Recommended

Thoughts: This was written for Present Perfect's dumb Soft Hands contest. I still need to finish my entry, which happens pretty much every contest I enter. This was certainly random. The long story description sums it up pretty well. This story was (seemingly purposely) dumb. Do you like dumb stories? You'll probably like it.
Verdict: Vaguely recommended if you like dumb deconstructions
