The last research paper I worked on has published at last.

The process is REALLY slow. I finished all my work on this 3 years ago.

This one uses a lot of my histology and in-situ hybridization with RNAscope results.

But no more science for me. Now I build houses and driveways... and rip them apart too! It's a sort of yin-yang thing I've got going here.

A comedic scene from a new Clouseua story I'm fiddling with...

I just came up with this, and imagining Peter Sellers delivering the line had me laughing for 5 minutes straight.

Clouseau, "For you see, the murderer was... the bullet!"

    Guy in room, "The bullet?"

Clouseau, "Of course, no one would suspect the bullet of firing itself!"

Woman in room, "But that... that's madness!"

THE PIRATE KING BREAKS THE NETFLIX ANIME ADAPTATION CURSE!!!

Only the Pirate King could do it...

It's as good as possible. You cannot do such a goofy anime any better than this, and it's GREAT! I friggin LOVED it.

Last call for Bronycon items up on Ebay!

I'll be delisting all remaining MLP items Sept 1st to focus entirely on selling my huge stash of collectible magazines, which take up vastly more space than the MLP items. Everything here fits into a single flat box I can pick up with one hand. The magazines... weigh over 700 lbs total. Sooooo, kinda makes sense to deal with those ASAP!

Kubo And the Two Strings: GO WATCH IT!! · 1:22am Aug 29th, 2016

"If you must blink, do it now..."

Those are the first words heard in the opening of the film, and from that moment on I could hardly close my eyes.

People constantly complain that Hollywood's out of ideas...

And then, something like this magnificent stop-motion animated film comes out (this also applies to "The Little Prince", only out in limited release) and practically no one goes to see it, despite its originality, creativity, and magnificent fantasy storytelling.

I cannot give this movie enough praise... and I can't talk too much about it without spoiling details.

I will only say, pay careful attention to everything you may see or hear, no matter how unusual it may seem. If you look away, you may not believe what the story tells you...

For any who long for the days of magnificent tales of fantasy heroes who endured great loss and pain, and rose above from the strength of the character and not merely their powers, you must see this movie.

It's sad when garbage like EQG gets all the attention and sequels while other movies with much more originality and heart put into it gets left behind.

4179648 The most revolting this to me is that gutter-trash like "Sausage Party" is doing better. It's just filth with an atheist message attached, and it's praised for basically stating, "Hurr durr, there's no god and stuff." with lots of adolescent-level attempts at humor only the lowest common denominator of human being will find funny as its the only type of humor they're capable of comprehending.

And I mean this, as I've met such people, and movies like "Clue" move too fast and are too subtle for them to grasp the jokes... primarily because they lack the language comprehension skills. :facehoof:
