Based on the first five minutes alone, it's worth watching and the best episode of season 6 and makes up for a few lackluster episodes. Everything after that just makes it better and better. Discord is in top hilarious form, Spike is adorably enthusiastic about his game and even delivers the big line that makes Discord realize things aren't going according to plan, and Big mac is surprisingly expressive and hilarious with the grand total of less than ten different words in all his dialogue.. And then that ending was just perfect, whether it was Twilight's slowly back away mentality or Rainbow and Pinkie gladly jumping in.

Honestly, I think this episode single handedly makes up for most of the lackluster episodes of the entire season, and it honestly rivals Lesson Zero for my favorite single part episode.

Also, is it just me or does Big Mac try to give Discord bedroom eyes?

Regardless, this episode is just filled with reactionary fanfic material, from nearly the very beginning with Opposite Fluttershy (gold) to the questionable goodbyes of the Mane 6 whom I refuse the writers didn't intentionally imply they think Spike and Big Mac are rutting each other's brains out even if they're actually just playing a D&D knock off to the fact that, despite all silliness, the thought of a sentient giant squid who is also a malevolent evil wizard/possible overlord capable of casting eight spells at once actually sounds pretty awesome (even if it doesn't live up to it in the alternate dimension Discord throws them into).

So...awesome...
