I was poking around and I noticed something. There aren't really species tags.
Under "Background Ponies" we have "changelings," and under side characters we have "Diamond Dogs" and "Breezies," but there is a lack of other general known species - no generic Zebra, Griffon, Minotaur, Buffalo, Saddle Arabian, Dragon tag.
To be honest I don't know if there's actually a demand for that. I may be the only one who wants that (and a tag I also want isn't even in the list because it's got zero canonical connection so I know it's not going to happen) but...is it worth asking about? And how would I go about doing that?
new tags maybe I know I would like to see more emoticons I know of to right off as there is know clear apple bloom or Princess Luna / nightmare moon.

Implying the admins bother to update tags.
They're only updated occasionally and leave out most ponies after the first few seasons.
Yeah, the tag system is badly out-dated and species tags would be a great place to start.
I'd love there to be Episode tags, so you could search all stories based off the episode Lesson Zero, or Too Many Pinkies for eg.
I guess I could see the point of a 'dragon' tag, considering how many episodes involve unnamed dragons. I'm not sure Zebra or Minotaur is really justifiable from a 'this site is based on canon' perspective. Griffins would be an edge case.
The one that bothers me most for its absence is "1st Person". Especially since "2nd Person" DOES exist.
I can say this as I help run a minecraft server tags look simple on the page but the amount of work to change / add a tag is a small mouton.
