    That's all...? Warning spoilers.

    So saw the premiere of season 7. It's cute and fun, but compared to previous seasons...lackluster. Nothing really happens at all.

    Who the Mane Six remind me of: Rarity

    As a kid my parents and I would often watch old sitcoms and old TV shows, trying to figure out how in this day and age, they can get so much wrong and uninspired. Now granted there are some great shows out there, but the typical sitcom does not manage to have the same level of character, life issues, and or social commentary as many of the old shows.

    Dungeons & Discords---WTF? {Spoiler Warning!}

    Sorry but i just watched the new episode and I've got to say, while i did like the D&D elements that made silly but funny situations, this episode kind of bugged me.

    first off the whole reason Spike and Big Mac asked Discord to join them was because they felt sorry for him... so it seems that the key to friendship in this episode was pity.

Dungeons & Discords---WTF? {Spoiler Warning!} · 10:03pm Aug 27th, 2016

In fact that seems to be the whole drive of the episode from both sides.

Discord goes along with the "guy' night" because he finds Spike's and Big Macs version of guy night is in his opinion stupid, (then it turns out he has no one else to hang out with-despite control over all matter and space).

And Spike and Big Mac bring him in becasue they feel sorry for him, even though again he can literally manipulate matter and reality.

So while in the end they come to have fun by meeting a balance (which is one positive of the episode) the whole thing that brought them together was mutual pity, and that just kind of bothers me.

I can't stand pity myself and I doubt most self respecting people do either.
