Manic Journals: I fixed a problem for new readers · 5:48am Aug 27th, 2016
So the system I use to update Manic Journals goes as follows, I take the old chapter, read it over and over and take notes and highlight important plot points. And then I rewrite the entire chapter from scratch while keeping the plot points in mind, and incorporating new story elements and characters. The ponies are all the same as before, but Gilchrist is now different. I've made him more human and weak, yet he still retains his cunning and willingness to do extreme things to get what he wants. He's not malicious, but he is devious.
Anyhoo, after I rewrite the old chapter, I cut the old words out of the Chapter file and paste the new words in. The problem with this is that it looks to everybody like all of my chapters were published back in 2014, instead of recently in 2016. I'm working on fixing this, but I'm too tired tonight to keep going. I'll work on it more tomorrow, but from now on all chapters will have an accurate post date attached to them. I don't want it to look like I'm not working on TMJ anymore.
I fixed the problem today. Now, from now on, this should not happen again.
